Dangerous Goods Transport Training
This course is accredited with the Transport Education Training Authority and covers unit standard “123259” NQF level 3, 4 Credits

All training programs are Outcome Based and are assessed according to various Unit Standards and Outcomes.
Assessment criteria consists of a Formative Assessment, In-Class Assessments and a Summative Assessment.

Duration: 1-day course
Day 1: Theory and In-Class Activities
08:00 am – 13:00 pm (x2 15-minute breaks included)
Final Examination: 30 minutes
Course Overview
Every individual involved in the Handling and Transportation of Dangerous Goods, whether they are consignors, manufacturers, importers or distributors, operators of road or rail vehicles or loading equipment, drivers or employers, have specific responsibilities and must adhere to a set of prescribed regulations and operating standards that dictate how the goods are marked, packaged and transported.
The Law
As regulated within The National Road Traffic Act of 1996 (Chapter VIII) regulation 280 Sub section 115 (1) and 117 (e) states that drivers of the vehicles of which he / she is the operator has to obtain a professional driving permit and undergo training at an approved training body.

What we offer at Liderazgo
Liderazgo Accreditation no TETA13-327 is an approved training body in the Transportation of Dangerous Goods, SAQA Unit Standard 123259. Liderazgo has Assessors and Moderators that are fully accredited with TETA and ETDP (SETA).
Our facilitators are subject matter experts also with TETA and ETDP (SETA) accreditation.
Our syllabus is SAQA and TETA compliant and on completion of the training our learners are issued with a certificate allowing our learners to successfully obtain their PRDP’s.
All our Learners are provided with a Dangerous Goods Training Manual and a Certificate on completion of the course.
